How to Calculate Projected Revenue in TCS

Use the Jobs / Projected Jobs report to estimate future revenue. Export the report, total the price column, and you'll have a projection of expected revenue for the selected date range.
Step 1. Open the Jobs / Projected Jobs Report
- Go to Reports
- Select Jobs / Projected Jobs
- Choose your date range
Example:
- June 1st – June 30th for projected June revenue
Step 2. Select your report columns
Choose the information you want to include.
Recommended columns:
- Customer Name
- Service Type
- Date to Complete
- Add-Ons
- Discounts
- Total Price
Step 3. Run and download the report
- Click Search
- Click Download
- Open the Excel file or import it into Google Sheets
Step 4. Calculate projected revenue
- Locate the Total Price column
- Total Price already includes:
- Add-ons
- Discounts
- You can also total the Add-On or Discount columns separately to analyze revenue trends
- Scroll to the bottom
- Use a SUM formula to total all prices
This total represents your projected revenue for the selected date range.
Example:
Projected June Revenue = $22,940 based on all scheduled and projected jobs during the month.
Notes
- Projected revenue includes future scheduled and projected jobs
- Total Price reflects what the customer is expected to pay after discounts
- Downloading to Google Sheets makes it easier to analyze and forecast revenue
- This report is useful for monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue planning
