Transitioning from Leads 2.0 to Sales 3.0
1. Know What Happens to Leads 2.0
- Beginning Thursday, Leads 2.0 will no longer run automations.
- Your existing leads will NOT disappear.
- They will remain in their current stages (Day 1, Day 2, Day 3, etc.).
- You can still open, review, and manually move these leads.
⚠️ WARNING: Do not expect Leads 2.0 to automatically follow up or move leads after Thursday.
2. Manually Finish Your Existing Leads
- Continue working every lead currently sitting in Leads 2.0.
- Review where each lead is in the process.
- Manually move leads through the appropriate stages.
- Ultimately, each existing lead should be moved to Won or Lost.
📝 NOTE: Think of Leads 2.0 as being phased out. Your goal is to work through what is already there until it is empty.
3. Sales 3.0 Starts Fresh
- On Thursday morning, Sales 3.0 will be a blank slate.
- Leads you currently see inside Sales 3.0 are only mirroring what is happening in Leads 2.0.
- Those mirrored leads will be removed during the transition.
⚠️ PAY EXTRA ATTENTION: Do not panic when you open Sales 3.0 Thursday and it is empty. This is expected.
4. ALL New Leads Go to Sales 3.0
Beginning Thursday, all new leads will enter the new Sales page.
This includes leads coming from:
- Your company website
- Third-party forms
- TCS forms when quoting a customer
🚨 IMPORTANT: New leads will NOT appear in Leads 2.0. Make sure you are checking Sales 3.0 for new opportunities.
5. Work Both Areas During the Transition
For a short period, you will need to pay attention to both systems, but for different reasons.
LEADS 2.0
→ Finish existing leads manually
→ No more automations
→ Move each lead to Won or Lost
SALES 3.0
→ Start with a blank slate Thursday
→ All NEW leads appear here
→ This is the system you will use going forward
⭐ REMEMBER
OLD LEADS = Finish them in Leads 2.0
NEW LEADS = Work them in Sales 3.0
⚠️ DO NOT WAIT FOR AUTOMATIONS IN LEADS 2.0 AFTER THURSDAY.
