How to Select a Card for a Job or Subscription
This explains how to update a customer’s payment method for a specific address or subscription so that future cleanings at that location automatically use the new card.
Step 1: Locate the Customer and Job
Go to the customer file for the client (e.g., Claudia Krennic).
Find the job for the specific address or subscription (e.g., Poplar Circle).
Step 2: Update the Payment Method
In the job details, locate the payment method section.
Select the new card the customer wants to use (e.g., card ending in 4-3-2).
Step 3: Save the Update
Click Save and choose Save and Update if prompted for a permanent change.
This ensures that the selected card will now be used for all future cleanings at that address.
Step 4: Confirmation
Confirm that the new card is now listed for that address.
Moving forward, all charges for cleanings at that property will automatically use the updated payment method.
Notes: Common Mistakes to Avoid
⚠️ Updating the Wrong Address: Make sure you’re editing the payment method for the correct subscription/address.
⚠️ Not Saving Permanently: If you only save temporarily, future cleanings won’t use the new card.
⚠️ Multiple Payment Methods Confusion: Confirm the correct card is selected when a customer has more than one on file.
