How to link an existing Stripe Customer into TCS so the Cards are also added

This video walks through how to link an existing Stripe customer (with saved cards and payment history) into TCS so their payment method can be used immediately for auto-charging.

1. Confirm the Customer Exists in Stripe

• Customer already has a Stripe profile

• Card and payment history already exist in Stripe

• You will be linking (not re-adding) the card into TCS

2. Add a New Customer in TCS

• Go to TCS → Add New Customer

• Enter the same name and email used in Stripe

• Copy over:

  • Email

  • Phone number

3. Copy the Stripe Customer ID

• Go to Stripe

• Open the customer’s profile

• Copy the Customer ID (starts with cus_)

4. Paste Stripe Customer ID into TCS

• In TCS, paste the Stripe Customer ID into the Stripe ID field

• Enable:

  • Accept Text

  • Accept Email

• Click Save

5. Verify Card Pulled into TCS

• TCS automatically pulls the last used payment method from Stripe

• The card now appears under:

  • Customer profile

  • Payment methods

• Auto-charging can now be used immediately

6. (Optional) Add a Second Stripe Card

• If the customer has multiple cards in Stripe:

  • Copy the Payment Method ID (pm_…) from Stripe

  • Add it as an additional payment method in TCS

• Save

• Both cards will now appear on the customer profile
