How to view and verify shared jobs, or One-time tips that need to be split
Processing Pending Tips
Locate Pending Tips
On the left side of the map/dashboard, find the section labeled “Pending tips to be validated.”
Click on it to open the list of tips awaiting review.
Review Tip Details
Each item will show the tip amount, job type, and the technicians associated with that job.
Remember: these are one-time tips (not recurring).
Process Tips for Team Jobs
Click on a tip connected to a team job (a job with more than one technician).
Confirm the total amount of the tip.
Decide how the tip should be split between the technicians. Example: If the total is $20 and there are two technicians, you might assign $10 to each.
Enter the amounts for each technician in the provided fields.
Click Save. The amounts will automatically be added to each technician’s payroll record.
Process Tips for Individual Jobs
Click on a tip tied to a job with a single technician.
Confirm that the entire tip amount should go to that technician.
Click Save. The full tip will be added to that technician’s payroll.
Important Notes
The customer has already processed the payment when they submitted the tip; this step ensures the tip is correctly allocated in payroll.
Always double-check the amounts before saving, since once saved they directly affect payroll.
If a mistake is made, adjustments may need to be entered separately to correct payroll records.
Repeat Until Complete
Continue reviewing and processing each pending tip in the list until there are no more pending validations.
