Step 1: Cleaning Is Marked Complete
Once the job is completed in the system, an automated text message is sent to the customer.
This message includes a link to rate the cleaning and leave a tip.
Step 2: Customer Opens the Rating & Tip Link
The customer clicks the link in the text message.
They are taken to a feedback page specifically for that completed cleaning.
Step 3: Customer Selects a Star Rating
The page displays a 1–5 star rating system.
The customer selects their rating (example: 5 stars).
Step 4: Customer Leaves Written Feedback (Optional)
Customers can leave a short written review.
Example feedback: “She did a wonderful job.”
Step 5: Customer Adds a Tip
The tip can be entered as:
A percentage (example: 10%)
A custom dollar amount
Example:
Cleaning total: $300
Tip: 10%
Step 6: Customer Submits Tip and Feedback
The customer clicks Submit.
The tip and review are successfully completed and recorded in the system.
Notes & Best Practices
Tips and ratings are tied directly to the completed job.
Higher visibility and ease of tipping often result in better tip participation.
