Use your API credentials to connect TCS with third-party software, and create webhooks to automate events between systems.
Step 1. Open API Credentials
- Go to Branch Settings
- Select API Credentials
- Copy your API Key and API Secret
Step 2. Review the API Documentation
- Open the API documentation
- Detailed payload shown here.
- Locate the endpoints or integration instructions for the software you're connecting
Step 3. Create a Webhook
- Scroll to the Webhooks section
- Click Add Webhook
- Enter a name for the webhook
Step 4. Configure the Webhook
- Select the Webhook Type
- Select the Operation/Event that will trigger the webhook
- Save the webhook
Step 5. Verify the Connection
- Confirm the webhook appears in your Webhooks list
- Test the integration to verify data is being sent and received correctly
Notes
- Keep your API Key and API Secret secure.
- Existing webhooks will be listed at the bottom of the API Credentials page.
- Each webhook should have a descriptive name so it's easy to identify its purpose.
- Use the API documentation when connecting TCS to third-party applications such as Zapier or custom integrations.
