How to Set up Tips Notifications with or without Feedback
The Cleaning Is Complete message now supports two different tip link options: Tip Only or Rating + Tip. Each option displays different information to the customer and can be used separately for SMS and email.
Step 1: Understand the Two Tip Link Types
Tip Only (Confirm Tip URL)
Does not show star ratings
Customer can leave a tip only
Rating + Tip
Displays 1–5 star rating
Allows customer to leave written feedback
Includes tipping options
Step 2: Identify the Visual Difference
Tip-only link:
No stars
No comment field
Rating + tip link:
Star rating appears
Comment box is available for feedback
Step 3: Add the Tip-Only Link to SMS
Select the Tip Only link option
Add SMS message text, for example:
“You can tip your cleaning here:”
Insert the SMS short URL
Save the SMS version
Step 4: Add the Tip-Only Link to Email
Select the Email Tip Only option
Use similar wording for consistency
Save the email version
Step 5: Add the Rating + Tip Link
Choose the Confirm Rate + Tip option
Use wording such as:
“Rate and tip your cleaning here”
Insert the correct rate + tip URL
Apply this to both:
SMS (if desired)
Email (recommended for feedback)
Step 6: Save and Activate
Click Save
The system will now send:
Tip-only links where selected
Rating + tip links where feedback is desired
