Different Ways to Set Up Payroll in TCS
There are three main parts to payroll setup in TCS:
1️⃣ Branch Settings (Drive Time & Mileage)2️⃣ User Pay Type (Hourly, Job Formula, or Percentage)3️⃣ Service Type Settings (How job time is calculated)

Branch Settings – Drive Time & Mileage
In Branch Settings, you choose whether your company pays for:

TCS will automatically calculate whichever option you turn on.
User Pay Setup – How the Employee Gets Paid
When adding or editing a user (Admin or Provider), you choose how they are paid.
There are two main ways:
| Pay the Hour (Clock In to Clock Out) |
Paid from first clock-in of the day to final clock-out of the day Includes drive time and gaps all at the same hourly rate |
| By the Job Formula (Paid Per Job) |
Paid based on the job ticket time Percentage Actual Time (for the job only) Drive time and/or mileage is calculated separately |
