Step 15: How to Set Up Service Tasks (optional)

Service Tasks are the specific tasks in the room (Wipe counter, Scrub sink, clean small appliances, polish stainless steel, etc)...... You MUST create your zones First before assigning Tasks

Service Zone: Kitchen

Service Task: Clean Microwave

1. Go to Service Tasks

   • Enter all individual cleaning tasks you want on checklists (e.g., “clean shower stall”).

2. Add task details

   • Enter task name in English and Spanish (copy English if unsure).

   • Assign the related zone (e.g., Bathroom).

   • Write a description or instructions (also translate if needed).

3. Save the task

   • Click save to add it to your task list.

4. Link tasks to Service Types

   • Go to Service Types and open the one you want to edit (e.g., Move In/Move Out).

   • Use the add or create option to attach tasks to that service type.

   • You can add tasks by selecting from a dropdown of previously created tasks.

5. Organize tasks by zone

   • Tasks will be grouped and displayed by zones in the service type checklist.

     Example for a simple Recurring Cleaning Task Checklist

     

6. Checklists appear for cleaners

   • When cleaners view their job in the app, these checklists will be pre-populated for that service type, and they check off tasks as they complete them.
