To properly cancel a client without removing past or upcoming cleanings, set a lost date after their final cleaning. This ensures all past jobs remain while future ones stop automatically.
Step-by-Step: How to Cancel a Client
Pull up the customer profile.
Go to the Subscriptions tab.
Do NOT cancel using “Mark as Lost” from the main menu.
Instead, click Details under the subscription.
Review scheduled cleanings on the calendar.
Identify the final cleaning date (e.g., August 6th).
Click Options → Mark as Lost.
Enter a Lost Date (e.g., August 7th, the day after the final clean).
Add a reason (e.g., “Moving,” “No longer needing service”).
Click Cancel Subscription.
Notes
All jobs up to the lost date remain on the schedule.
Jobs after the lost date are automatically canceled.
This method keeps client history and reporting data intact.
