Step 4: How to Change the Name for Each Property
When a short-term rental owner or property manager has multiple properties, each address should be entered separately and assigned its own yearly subscription. Naming each subscription with a custom property nickname makes it easy to manage schedules, notes, and future jobs without confusion.
1. Add Multiple Property Addresses
Open the customer profile.
Add each property address individually.
Example: Two homes on the same road with different street numbers.
Save each address.
Once saved, the customer will show multiple properties under their profile.
2. Create a Subscription for Each Property
Select the second property address.
Create a new job for that address.
Enter property-specific details:
Door code (unique per property)
Supply closet location or code
Set the subscription details:
Frequency: Yearly
Estimated time
Estimated price
Subscription start date (often end of year)
Set billing to invoice after each job.
Save the subscription.
âś… The customer now has two addresses and two subscriptions, one for each property.
3. Assign Custom Property Names (Nicknames)
Go to the subscription details.
Select Options → Edit.
Rename the subscription using a property nickname.
Example:
“Blue Cottage”
“Red Cottage”
Save the changes.
4. Use Subscription Names to Stay Organized
Subscription nicknames appear:
When clicking through subscriptions
When viewing the list of jobs
This prevents confusion when managing:
Multiple properties
Similar addresses
Multiple cleanings for the same customer
Notes
Each property should always have its own subscription, even if owned by the same client.
Property nicknames are especially helpful for:
Property managers
Owners with multiple homes on the same street
Job schedules are best managed from the Subscriptions section, where you can:
Move jobs
Identify properties quickly
Plan future cleanings with clarity
