This SOP explains how to configure and customize notifications in The Cleaning Software to ensure proper communication with customers during onboarding and cleaning services.

Access Notifications in Branch Settings:
- Navigate to Branch Settings in The Cleaning Software.
- After completing the branch and cleaner settings, go to the Notifications section.

Test Your Notifications:
- Set up the initial notifications and create a test job to ensure they work as expected.
- Once testing is complete, you can return to the settings to make adjustments as needed.

Configure the Welcome Notification: DO NOT CONFIGURE UNTIL CURRENT CUSTOMERS ARE ADDED.
- The Welcome Notification is sent automatically as soon as a customer is added.
- The Text Notification is pre-configured to include variables such as the customer’s name and a request to opt-in to SMS notifications. This message must be sent to comply with legal requirements.
- The Email Notification can be customized to include a welcome message from your branch or company. Example: “Thank you for choosing [Your Branch Name] for your home cleaning needs.”

Customize the Day Before Reminder with Time:
- This notification is sent the day before the scheduled cleaning and includes the arrival time (defaulted to 30 minutes either side of the scheduled time).
- Example: For an 8:30 AM job, the arrival window sent will be 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
- You can customize the message to include information about your cancellation policy or any other important details.

Next Cleaning Reminder (No Time):
- This reminder is sent to the customer to notify them of their upcoming job, without specifying the exact time.
- Example: “Your job is on the schedule for [date]. Your next estimated arrival window will be sent soon.”

Crew and Route Notification:
- This notification is sent when the cleaner starts traveling to the customer’s location.
- You can include any specific message here, such as "Your cleaner is on their way."

Cleaning Complete Notification:
- This notification is sent as soon as the cleaner finishes the job.

It is recommended to include a link for leaving reviews and tipping options in both the text and email notifications.

- Example: “Your cleaning is complete! Please leave a review and tip your cleaner by clicking this [link].”

Review and Tip Notifications:
- Use the Cleaning Complete Notification to drive customers to leave reviews and tips by providing direct links in the message.
- Example: Include a link to your review platform and a tipping service for easy access.
Quality Control:
- Test all notifications after setup to ensure they display and send correctly to customers.
- Regularly review and update notification messages to reflect any changes in service policies or customer feedback.
