How to set up member multipliers for a company that runs Teams (if you have your techs drive all together to the same job than for payroll purposes you will have a Team model in TCS.)
SAMPLE SHEET TEAMS OF 2 & 3
Understand your base team size
All time estimates and pricing are based on a team of 2 people by default.
Set Member Time Multiplier (job speed based on people sent)
Sending 1 person → work goes half as fast (multiplier = 0.5).
Sending 2 people → normal speed (multiplier = 1.0).
Sending 3 people → 1.5 times faster (multiplier = 1.5).
Sending 4 people → twice as fast (multiplier = 2.0).
Set Payroll Member Multiplier (how pay is split)
Sending 1 person → multiplier is 2x their usual pay (because they’re solo on a job designed for 2).
Sending 2 people → normal pay split (each gets normal amount).
Sending 3 people → payroll split into thirds (each gets ~33%).
Sending 4 people → payroll split in half (each gets ~50%), since the base is 2-person teams.
Custom Rate Multiplier matches Member Time Multiplier
This multiplier is used for manual hourly or custom rates, matching the time multiplier exactly.
Use these multipliers consistently across all service types
Because times and prices are all based on 2-person teams, use these same multiplier values for every service type.
Save and document
Screenshot or save these multiplier values and apply them consistently to avoid confusion.
