From the Map View you can approve or deny extra time requests to raise the final cleaning price or increase the cleaners payout.
Receive Notification
Admins get a text notification when a team requests extra time.
A notification also appears on the Schedule Board.
2. Check the Request
If the request doesn’t show, click Refresh.
Open the request to view details (team comments, pictures, etc.).
3. Evaluate the Situation
Review the team’s comments (e.g., “extra dirty,” pictures provided).
Determine how much extra time is needed and the cost.
Example: 120 extra minutes = $120.
4. Contact Customer
Call the customer, explain the situation, and provide details.
Options:
Approve full cost (e.g., $120 for 2 hours).
Negotiate (e.g., customer only agrees to $90).
Reject if the customer doesn’t approve extra time.
5. Take Action in System
Approve Request → adds time and cost to the job.
Modify & Approve → adjust the cost/time, then approve.
Reject Request → notifies the cleaners instantly.
Clear Request → only use if the job is already finished and you missed approving/rejecting.
6. Timing is Critical
Must approve or reject while cleaners are still in the job.
If done afterward, you can only clear the request.
7. Confirm Update
Once approved, the extra time is added to the customer’s invoice.
The cleaners’ timer automatically updates with the extra minutes.
Cleaners can see live updates (approval, rejection, or clearance).
Final Notes
Always handle requests immediately upon receiving notification.
Use clear request only if you missed the window while cleaners were inside
