How to add or update notes for One Time or Permanent
This outlines how to add specific notes to a customer’s job in the scheduling system. These notes can be applied to a single job only or to all future jobs, helping technicians with client-specific preferences, instructions, or entry details.
Identify the Customer and Job:
Locate the job in question based on the client call or update.
Open the job from the schedule or through the customer’s profile.
Enter the Note:
In the notes section, enter the information (e.g., “Key is under the mat,” or “Do not touch the mantle”).
Choose Scope of Note:
After entering the note, click Save.
You will be prompted to choose:
Yes, all jobs – applies the note to the current and all future jobs.
No, only this job – applies the note only to the selected date/job.
Verify the Note:
If saved to all jobs, check a future scheduled job to ensure the note is present.
If saved to only this job, check future jobs to confirm the note is not carried over.
