How to use Payroll Repoort
The payroll report in Cleaning Software provides a detailed breakdown of employee hours, pay, and adjustments. This is often the most-used report for managing payroll efficiently.
1. Accessing the Payroll Report
Go to Reports → Payroll Report
Set your date range (e.g., last week of May)
Select all users or filter by specific user types
Click Search to generate the report
2. Layout of the Report
Top Section: Summaries
Total Payout: Total amount earned by each employee for the period
Average Hourly Rate: Includes actual cleaning time + travel time
Useful for compliance (e.g., proves pay meets minimum wage requirements)
Bottom Section: Employee Details
Each employee has a tab
Expand columns to see detailed data
Key columns include:
Job ID
Customer number
Service type
Date of service
Estimated time vs. Actual time
Payout per job
3. Adjustments Section
Travel time (if paid)
Tips
Mileage (if reimbursed)
Other payroll adjustments specific to that employee
4. Hourly vs. Job-Based Pay
For hourly employees: Pay listed next to clocked time
For job-based employees: Payout is calculated per job
Includes travel time where applicable
5. Notes
Actual time vs. estimated time helps track efficiency
Adjustments provide transparency for tips, mileage, or other compensation
Report can be used to prove compliance with labor laws
