Use the Jobs Report to see which jobs received discounts, why they were discounted, and the total amount of discounts given during a selected time period.
Step 1. Open the Jobs Report
- Go to Reports → Jobs
- (Use Projected Jobs if you want to review future discounts.)
- Select your date range
Example:
- June 1st – June 30th
Step 2. Filter the report
- Select the service types you want to review (example: Deep Cleans and Make Readies)
- Set Job Status to Completed
Step 3. Select your report columns
Recommended columns:
- Customer
- Service Type
- Discount
- Discount Comment
- Add-Ons
- Total Price
Step 4. Run and download the report
- Click Search
- Review the discounts and discount comments
- Download the report to Excel or Google Sheets if needed
Step 5. Calculate total discounts
- Add the Discount column to determine the total discounts given
- Compare it with the Total Price column to measure discount impact
Notes
- Use the Discount Comment field to document why a discount was applied (promotion, complaint, loyalty discount, etc.).
- The report can be filtered by service type, date range, and job status.
- Exporting the report makes it easy to total discounts and analyze revenue.
- This report is useful for tracking promotions, customer service credits, and overall discount trends.
