How to Apply Discounts

1. Open Customer File

• Example: Janet Jackson’s profile.

2. Select Discount Type

• One-time discount → e.g., $25 spring special applied only once.

• Recurring discount → e.g., $25 off every cleaning automatically.

3. When to Use Discounts

• Promotions: Apply seasonal or marketing specials.

• Service Issues: Give a credit (e.g., $50 for breakage or inconvenience).

• Customer Retention: Incentives to keep or reward loyal clients.

4. Payroll Protection

• Discounts do not affect cleaner pay; payroll calculates from the original service price.

5. Save & Confirm

• Always click Save and double-check the final price updates correctly.
