This guide covers how to turn a quoted lead into a booked job by confirming details, updating pricing, collecting payment information, and converting the lead into an active job in the system.
1. Confirm Customer Address and Details
Enter the customer’s address so square footage can auto-populate.
If square footage changes the pricing, notify the customer and send an updated quote.
Confirm they are ready to proceed with booking before moving forward.
2. Collect Scheduling Preferences
Ask the customer for their preferred service date.
Choose arrival window (e.g., morning, midday, afternoon) and explain it's a scheduling parameter, not full job duration.
Apply any discounts if applicable.
Mark flexible scheduling if relevant.
3. Link Payment Method via Stripe
Click Link to Stripe only once customer commits to booking.
Enter credit card details and save.
Confirm auto-charge settings or disable auto-charge if needed.
4. Add Service Notes and Preferences
Entry Notes: How your team will access the home.
Cleaning Notes: Specific requests beyond the standard checklist.
Customer Preferences: Order of rooms, parking instructions, etc.
Internal Notes: Scheduling notes like arrival restrictions or timing requirements.
System auto-saves notes as you type.
5. Add Additional Services if Needed
Add add-ons such as oven cleaning, including quantity and preset duration.
Save updates before finalizing booking.
6. Convert Lead to Booked Job
Click Convert to Job to finalize.
The booking will appear on the map and in the job file.
The lead status automatically moves to Booked in the pipeline.
Notes / Watch-Outs
If payment details are invalid or missing, conversion may fail—ensure Stripe setup is completed.
Always send an updated quote if price changes due to square footage differences.
Upon conversion, the system sends a welcome notification—use this to provide policies, expectations, and confirmation details.
Double-check job details from the job file immediately after booking.
